FIFA and ASPIRE

Co/founder Dr Perry Walters was recently featured on the FIFA Training Centre platform discussing how adolescent neuroscience can be useful for football. Dr Walters work was presented in two parts.

In the first presentation he explores how new insights around the adolescent brain can be incorporated into coaches’ thinking and practice, offering examples of his own work with professional football academies.

The second part focusses on his neuro-informed ASPIRE framework© and how it can offer a useful heuristic for coaches - a lens that can map on to existing psych-social understanding, offering a holistic appreciation of this stage of development.
